Having fun at the fair!

On Friday, Worsley Bears loaded up the car and headed north to Launceston to the Eskleigh Doll, Bear and Minatures Fair.

This was the first time for Worsley Bears to trade at a fair, releasing patterns and kits for Wilfred, Belle, Bobby and Louie.

The bears absolutely loved being on show and enjoyed all the compliments and hugs they received.

The highlight for me was meeting the Steiff Titanic Bear.  He was one of 454 bears made 100 years ago when the Titanic sank to remember the people who died.  He is black because he is mourning. This Titanic Bear was valued at two hundred thousand dollars on Antiques Roadshow in 2005!
I was very very privileged to give him a hug.....

Someone else didn't want to miss out either on this once in a lifetime opportunity!

A huge thank you to the owner of the Titanic Bear for sharing him with us all.

Worsley Bears had a beary good time at the fair!
